Laborelec was founded in 1962 and is the GDF SUEZ Group`s technical competence and research centre for electricity. Situated on the edge of Brussels, Laborelec specialises in facilities for generating, distributing and making use of electricity. Today, Laborelec`s activities very strongly focus on the key aspects of sustainable energy, namely : the efficiency and availability of equipment for generating and distributing electricity; security of supply and the quality of electricity; reducing ecological footprints, promoting the rational use of energy, and cutting CO2 emissions.
